Anniston Housing Authority

Anniston Housing Authority provides low income housing options to those that qualify in the area. They provide rental assistance through programs such as Public Housing Communities and Housing Choice Vouchers, formerly Section 8. They currently provide safe, affordable housing for low and moderate income residents in the area with 748 public housing apartments at 9 communities in the area. The Housing Choice Voucher program currently is providing rental assistance to approximately 200 families in the area. When assistance becomes available eligible applicants are limited to those residents that are very low income families, eligible elderly, handicapped or disabled.
