Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC - Section 42 Program)

Pinehurst Apartments is part of the LIHTC Program and there are income guidelines that must be followed first and foremost to determine eligibility to live in the apartment community. These income guidelines are set by federal and state agencies and can be confirmed from those sources. The income criteria that we offer is the maximum amount allowed. In addition, the Section 42 Program does not allow for full-time students, even if the student qualifies as a low income resident, unless you meet one of the certain criteria in Section 42(i)(3)(D) and HR3221.
