To get your name on the waiting , you must complete and return an application to the City of Brea. (If you would prefer to have an application mailed to you, call 714-671-3622.) Applications are accepted on a continuous bsis, but the programs are not first-come, first-served. New applicants are placed on a waiting list which is prioritized based on a point system. An applicant's place on the waiting list is dependent upon accumulated points, which are awarded in various categories such as: Brea residency, Brea employment, military service, disability, etc.
We cannot provide you with information as to your position on any waiting list. Additionally, we are unable to estimate how long you will be waiting for a unit, as it depends upon where you are on the waiting list when an opening becomes available. THERE ARE NO OPENINGS UNTIL A TENANT WHO IS PARTICIPATING IN A PROGRAM MOVES OUT.
