New Haven Housing Authority - Elm City Communities

New Haven Housing Authority - Elm City Communities provides housing assistance to low income residents through themanagement of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the HousingChoice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based andthe eligibility requirements are set by HUD. There may be a waiting listfor vouchers or rentals and at times the lists may close to newapplicants due to the overwhelming need for housing assistance and thelong wait time for assistance for those already on the waiting lists.
