New Paradigm

New Paradigm of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. provides affordable, transitional housing to families who are at risk of becoming homeless in Englewood and Port Charlotte. The two-year program is designed to help families develop the skills necessary to live an independent life through financial training, credit repair services, counseling, parenting classes and case management.

Guidelines
    Families must consist of at least one parent and children under the age of 17.
    Parent(s) must have a secure, guaranteed income.
    Parent(s) must have their own transportation. No public transportation is provided in Charlotte County.
    Parent(s) must agree to attend mandatory classes in financial budgeting and training, parenting, and credit repair.
    Parent(s) must provide and work toward achieving a list of personal goals.
    Parent(s) must be willing to work with caseworkers.
    No pets are allowed in the housing units.
