Stuart Pointe Apartments offers affordable housing through Section 42, a program that gives tax credits to landlords who rent to low-income tenants. The rents depend on the average income and utility costs in the area. At least one-fifth of these apartments must have these reduced rates for eligible tenants.
This program helps people with moderate incomes find affordable housing. The rents are lower than the market rates, but you have to pay the full rent yourself. The program is not based on your income, but on the income limit for your area. You can only join the program if your household income is below that limit.
