Rome City Housing Authority

The Housing Authority of the City of Rome provides housing assistance to low-income residents through the management of programs such as the Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8.
These programs are income-based and eligibility guidelines are established by hud.
Due to the overwhelming need for housing benefit, there may be waiting lists for these rents or vouchers, and sometimes these lists may be closed to new applicants due to the size and length of the waiting period on the lists.
