Cathedral is a Low Rent Public Housing Community operated by the Boston Housing Authority. The property is located across from the Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Cross and when renovation of all apartments are completed will consist of 421 rentals ranging in sizer from 1 - 4 bedrooms. There are completed rentals and others are in differing stages of renovation. The community offers a Community Room, ESL and GED Classes, Summer meal programs for children and easy access to local shopping and entertainment. These rentals are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set byHUD.There may be waiting lists for these rentals and at times thelistsmay close to new applicants based on the size of and length ofwait onthe lists.
