The Miriam Apartments I aka The Brawer Building offers Seniors independent living with supportive services to help them maintain an active lifestyle.

 Miriam Apartments I consists of 106 studio apartments and 14 one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has its own kitchenette for the tenant who wishes to prepare their own meals.

 A call bell system connects tenants with the administrative offices and brings immediate help in the event of an emergency.  

Designed with the specialized needs of seniors in mind, bathrooms are equipped with grab bars and low-walled tubs for ease and security while bathing and easy-grip faucets assist those suffering from joint pain.

 Large closets provide ample storage space.

 Other features include 24-hour security and optional weekly maid and linen service.

Miriam Apartments I participates in Section 8 of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (H.U.D.) thereby entitling qualified individuals for federal subsidies through the HUD Section 8 program.
