Echo Housing Demonstration Program

ECHO Housing is a 620 square foot modular home on a temporary foundation to provide the benefits of independent living with the support of the family environment for the elderly occupant.

 The one bedroom home is temporarily placed on the property of a relative.

The unit's utilities are connected to that of the main property.

The unit is removed when it is no longer needed.

Eligibility is based on HUD Section 8 guidelines.

Rent is based on 30% of income.
