About This Building
Mission Statement: Cornerstone Community Housing is committed tobuilding quality, affordable housing for people living on limited incomes and offering services that promote opportunities for personalgrowth and economic independence.
There are waiting lists at all properties.
Rents are dependent upon the size of unit (studio, 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms) number in household and income levels. Unlike other housing programs, tax credit rent is based on the average income in your county or other local area. This average is known as the "area median gross income" (AMGI), which HUD updates each year.
Your actual income matters when it comes to determining if you qualify for a low-income apartment at a tax credit property, but the actual rent you pay is not based solely on your
income.
You must have enough income to pay your rent regardless of where your income comes from. Cornerstone accepts Section 8 Vouchers.
