Ida Tower provides low income housing for Seniors.

 The complex is located in a high-rise building at 12th Street and 11th Avenue in downtown Altoona.

There is a total of125 apartments: 41 efficiency and 84 one-bedroom units for those 62 and older and persons with disabilities.

75 of the apartments have rent subsidies which allow tenants to pay rent of no more than 30% of their adjusted gross income.

Unsubsidized tenants pay 30% of their income as rent or the basic rent, whichever is greater.

 All rents include utilities.
