St. Ambrose Manor is a 101-unit, modern, HUD-approved, apartment building for adults over 62 or the mobility impaired. All units are one-bedroom with full kitchens and baths and full balconies. A laundry room is onsite. Rent is based on income.

Entry to the apartment building itself is by a Fob Keyless system, monitored by security cameras. Entry to each apartment unit is by a separate key. Guests and workmen can call individual apartments from the front door and bebuzzed inby residents, who can monitor the lobby entryway on their television sets (Channel 952). Security cameras also monitor the resident's parking lot and entrance sidewalk.
