Heilman House provides affordable housing for Seniors age 62 and older and physically challenged persons over the age of 18.

The  4-story complex offers 50 spacious one-bedroom apartments with full kitchen, private bath, air conditioning, wall-to-wall carpeting, large closets, and cable-television access.

Rent is subsidized based on income. 

All building entrances are locked, with residents using a front-door card-access system.

The front entrance also is monitored during daytime hours, and visitors are regulated by residents via a phone-access system.

The building also includes smoke alarms, emergency lighting systems, central fire/heat detectors, a sprinkler system, handrails in the hallways, and grab bars in the bathrooms.

The grounds, including parking areas, are well lighted and well kept.
