They do not charge lower rent for low income persons.

All of our pricing remains the same for each person, with exception of specials running periodically throughout the year.

They do not receive money from the government. 

They do accept section 8 and HUD vouchers, however, the person MUST still have a qualifying income of 2.5x the amount of the rent as well.

As far as what a resident with HUD assistance actually pays for their rent is just the difference between what Housing is willing to pay and the amount of the rent, not 30% of adjusted gross income.
