Fresno City and County, California Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Fresno Housing Authority (FHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for two weeks in June, 2019. Before that, it was open for two weeks in June, 2018, in June, 2017 and in July, 2016. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: There were separate waiting lists for the City and County of Fresno, and households were able to submit an application for both waiting lists.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Elderly,  Disabled, or Veterans.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
