Eligibility
The Kings County Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
This housing authority has 3 public housing communities, located throughout Kings County.
1. Sunnyside Village is a 151 unit community, ranging from 1-5 bedrooms, located in Hanford.
2. Sycamore Court is a 17 unit community , ranging from 2-3 bedrooms, and is located in Armona.
3. Valley View Village is a 100 unit community, ranging from 1-5 bedrooms, and is located in Corcoran.
To apply for public housing there are two different applications that can be downloaded, to print and complete. You can find them here: http://www.hakc.com/applications.htm.
Once you have completed the application, it can be mailed or hand delivered to: 670 S. Irwin St., Hanford, CA 93230, or 700 6 1/2 Ave., Corcoran, CA 93212, these offices are open Monday-Friday, during normal office hours, and closed one Friday of the month.
