San Luis Obispo County, California Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo (HASLO) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher interest list is closed.

The HASLO last accepted Section 8 HCV applications for this interest list from March 1, 2022, until March 3, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limit for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $20,550 | 5 Persons $31,700
• 2 Persons $23,500 | 6 Persons $35,580
• 3 Persons $26,450 | 7 Persons $40,120
• 4 Persons $29,350 | 8 Persons $44,660

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Applicants who live or work in the County of San Luis Obispo; and
• Eligible U.S. Veterans.

150 applicants were placed on the interest list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
