About This Building
Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida offers a variety of services to those in need within the community. They provide emergency assistance with needs such as financial assistance, food, counseling, pregnancy, adoption, a thrift store, and housing and utilities. They also have a gift giving holiday program called Christmas Connection which is the largest gift giving program in Northwest Florida. There is a transitional shelter called St. Barnabas House which families can stay for up to six months to help build themselves to become self-sufficient. If applicant needs can not be assisted from within Catholic Charities they will provide information and resources for help from other area agencies. For emergency assistance, the information needed to apply is as follows: Most recent fuel bill Date of birth for all household members Proof of disability or medical emergency if applicant is under age 60 Social Security numbers for all household members All income for all household members Receipts of any and all payments made in the last 30 days Please contact directly to obtain hours of operation and more detailed information about services that are available.
