Sarasota Housing Authority

Sarasota Housing Authority offers rental assistance through the management of Public Housing Rentals and Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. The programs vary and can provide flexibility to low income families I.E. Residents paying a portion of the rent due based on income. Certain policies, eligibility requirements, and restrictions apply. These programs are income based and each have separate eligibility requirements applicants must meet. There may be waiting lists for these programs and at times the lists may close due to the size of or length of wait on the lists. Please contact them directly for more information.
Mission Statement: The mission of the Resident Services Department is to offer training, employment and educational opportunities to assist residents of the Sarasota Housing Authority in realizing economic self-sufficiency.
