Ark - General Assistance

Ark - General Assistance assists neighbors with payment of electric/gas/water bills and or rent/mortgage. Regular grants are provided to neighbors who, for reasons beyond their control, have suffered verifiable a loss or reduction of income or encountered a major unexpected expense.  An interview with an Ark volunteer is involved; grants range from $50 to $300. The Ark works together with other local organizations to further assist our neighbors. Ark grants: Prevent homelessness by ensuring clients are not evicted for non-payment of rent. Prevent loss of electric and heating services to clients who would otherwise have their service turned off. Prevent medical crises by ensuring clients are able to pay for needed prescription drugs.
