Salvation Army of Decatur

The Salvation Army Social Service Department is available to disadvantaged Macon County residents who need financial support, counseling and assistance in order to maintain a constant quality of life and stable lifestyle. General Assistance is based on financial and non-financial eligibility. The Salvation Army of Macon County is also a selected Agency to provide supportive services for Veteran Families(SSVF).  With this program we can assist very low-income Veteran families residing in or transitioning to permanent housing.
