About This Building
Residents who receive an abnormally high water bill due to a leak or accidental excessive use can request a payment plan at the City Collectors Office in the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave. The plan requires residents to pay half of the outstanding balance as a down payment to initiate the process. The remaining balance can then be paid back in equal installments over a 3- or 6-month period, depending on the amount due. During the course of the plan, all future bills that occur must be kept current and paid by the due date in addition to the plan payments.
