Tarrant County Department of Human Services - Rental Assistance

Tarrant County Department of Human Services provides assistance with mortgage, rent, and utilities. Special Utility Assistance Program (SUAP) limited to provide electric and gas services to eligible households. Must have household incomes of less than $100 a month, crisis events, health conditions, and/or employment status may allow for higher income levels. Please call for intake information.
Mission Statement: The mission of TCDHS is to provide social services and economic assistance to individuals and families. Financial assistance is provided to eligible households for rent, mortgage, utilities, food & hygiene items, and transportation on a limited basis.
