Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program

The Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program is a federally funded program designed to assist low-income families, the elderly and the disabled or handicapped in paying their monthly rental payments. The Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program is funded exclusively by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, but administered hundreds of Public Housing Authorities (PHA's) nationwide, including the Huntington West Virginia Housing Authority in Cabell County.
