Eligibility
The Housing Authority of Maricopa County (HAMC) Emergency Housing Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications for referrals were last accepted from July 31, 2021, until the earliest confirmed close date of August 7, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen
To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to contact the Maricopa Continuum of Care (CoC) any of the Coordinated Entry Points listed on the public notice
Please note: According to the HAMC, "In order to be eligible for an EHV, an individual or family must meet one of four eligibility categories:
- Homeless
- At risk of homelessness
- Fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking
- Recently homeless and for whom providing rental assistance will prevent the family’s homelessness or having high risk of housing instability."
Preferences have not yet been confirmed
