Colusa, Nevada, Sutter and Yuba County, California Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Regional Housing Authority (RHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from June 30, 2021 until July 15, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the application online.
3. Pick up an application from the RHA office.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Involuntary Displacement - Must have letter from Government agency
• Victim of Domestic Violence (Current or within previous 6 months) - Must have court paperwork, police report, or Marsay's Card
• Veteran - DD214, VA Letter, Military ID Card
• Mainstream - Third party proof that the household has a disabled member who is between the ages of 18-61
• Homeless - Verification by a professional or social service agency
• Elderly/Disabled - Elderly households or a household whose head or spouse is disabled. One form of third-party verification required for disability preference.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
