Nellie Bechtel Apartments, 1 and 2-Bedroom Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher rental housing assistance in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The Grand Junction Housing Authority (GJHA) is accepting Senior Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1 and 2-Bedroom waiting list applications for Nellie Bechtel Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of March 5, 2024, until further notice.

This waiting list is for the following property:

• Nellie Bechtel Apartments - located at 3032 N 15th St, Grand Junction, CO 81506. Offering 1 and 2-Bedroom units.

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the paper application.

Once the paper application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the GJHA office at 8 Foresight, Grand Junction, CO 81505.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Involuntarily displaced by government action
• TBRA-qualified families
• Disabled, elderly (62+), families with persons with disabilities, single parent with dependent children under 6 years old and work 20 hours per week, families with dependent children over 6 years old and working 30 hours a week living, working, attending school in Mesa County.
• Families with dependant children, not working the minimum # of number of hours per week living, working in Mesa County.
• Families with no dependent children, SIngles and all others living outside Mesa County.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application has been received, by order of preferences.
