This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in DeKalb County, Illinois.

The Housing Authority of the County of DeKalb (HACD) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 3, 2024, until 2,500 applications are received.

Preferences

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• DeKalb County Residency
• Head, spouse, or sole member has legal custody of a minor child or children.
• Working
• Rent Burden
• DeKalb County, IL Supportive Services 

Selection Process

2,500 selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
