Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Menard County Housing Authority (MCHA) waiting list for Section 8 Project-Based Voucher apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least July, 2017, until further notice.

This waiting list may have any of the following preferences:

• Residency Preference
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Alexander • Bond • Brown • Clinton • Coles • Crawford • De Witt • Douglas • Edwards • Fayette • Hardin • Jackson • Jasper • Johnson • Lawrence • Livingston • Macoupin • Massac • McDonough • Menard • Monroe • Moultrie • Perry • Pulaski • Randolph • Schuyler • Scott • Wabash • White
• Residency Preference - Bond County
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Bond County
• Residency Preference - Breese Senior Apartments
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Clinton County
• Residency Preference - Douglas County
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Douglas County
• Residency Preference - Livingston County
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Livingston County
• Residency Preference - Macoupin County
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Macoupin County
• Residency Preference - McDonough County
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • McDonough County
• Residency Preference - Scott County
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Scott County
• Residency Preference - Pawnee Senior Homes
  A residency preference is given to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head lives, works, or has been hired to work within the covered jurisdiction. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties: • Sangamon County
• Veterans Preference
  A Veterans preference is available to applicants whose head of household, spouse, or co-head is a veteran or survivor of a veteran who actively served in a branch of the U.S. Armed Services. Persons dishonorably discharged do not qualify for this preference. A Veteran is defined as a person who served in the active military service of the U.S. at least four (4) months.
