Mercer County, Illinois Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Mercer County Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open.

The MCHA is accepting applications for this waiting list from February 23, 2022 at 8:30 am, until May 2, 2022 at 4:30 pm CT.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. In person applications are accepted at the MCHA office, located at 80 Jefferson Avenue, Sharon, PA 16146.
2. Call (309) 582-5410 to request an application by mail.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• VAWA/Victims of Domestic Violence
• Local Residency

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
