Housing Authority of the City of Elkhart Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Elkhart Indiana Housing Authority opens its Section 8 waiting list one day a month and uses a lottery type system.  They hand out tickets on the first business day of each month.  Fifty ticket numbers will be randomly selected and posted by the end of that day.  If a ticket holder was selected, they may pick up an application on the second business day.To get more details on the process, see the Section 8 waiting list lottery flyer provided by the housing authority.
