Public Housing Waiting List

The Fort Wayne Housing Authority (FWHA) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from June 17, 2019, until March 16, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the application on the FWHA website.
3. Pick up the application at the FWHA Administrative Building.

Once the paper application was completed, it must have been either:

1. Dropped off at the FWHA Administrative Building.
2. Mailed to the FWHA.
3. Faxed to the FWHA.

The waiting list had the following preferences: Working families, Domestic violence victims, Veterans, and Transitional housing graduates.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
