This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Crawford, Spencer, Warrick, Gibson, and Vanderburgh County, Indiana.

The Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) on behalf of the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from January 15, 2024 at 7:30 am CT, until further notice. This is the first time the waitlist list has been open since it closed in August, 2022.

To apply while the waitlist is open, complete the online application available below:

• Crawford County
• Spencer County
• Warrick County
• Gibson County
• Vanderburgh County

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Local Residency
• Person residing in an institutional setting or at risk of being placed in an institutional setting.
• Working Families
• Elderly
• Non-Elderly Family Member with Disability
• Family Member with a Disability
• Youth Exiting Foster Care
• Child Welfare Involved Families
• Displacement due to Natural Disaster

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
