This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in High Point, North Carolina

The Housing Authority of the City of High Point (HACHP) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 1, 2024 at 9:00 am, until September 30, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in April, 2019

This waiting list has the following preferences: Live, Work, or Attend School in the City of High Point, Veterans, Working/Employed, Displaced by Natural Disaster, Displaced by Government Action

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

1. Complete the application at the HAHCP office, located at 500 East Russell Avenue, High Point, North Carolina 27260, on Tuesdays and Thursdays only, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

2. Pick up an application at the above address and office hours

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be dropped off at the above address and office hours
