Hornell Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Hornell Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.This housing authority offers two public housing communities dedicated to senior/disabled individuals, one 50 unit family apartment community ranging from 2 to 5 bedrooms, and nine single family scattered homes, all located throughout Hornell. Download the application here, then print and complete.2. Stop by the housing authority office, to pick up an application, located at 87 East Washington St., Hornell, NY 14843, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8am-4pm.Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the above address.  Be sure to include these original documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members, a police background check of where you live must be completed, and notarized.This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: living and/or working in Hornell, homeless, rent burden, or living in substandard conditions.More information can be found by visiting the housing authority website at http://www.hornellhousing.org/, or they can be reached with any question you may have, by calling
