Sandusky County, Ohio Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Sandusky Metropolitan Housing Authority (SMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The SMHA last accepted Section 8 HCV applications for this waiting list from March 21, 2022, until April 21, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Pick up an application from the Sandusky Metropolitan Housing Authority Office. 

Once the application was completed, it was returned to the SMHA.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Veteran
• Homeless
• Handicapped/disabled

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
