Hawks View Estates Section 8 Project-Based Voucher

The Housing Works last accepted Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 3-Bedroom apartments at Hawks View Estates from May 8, 2023 at 8:00 am, until May 11, 2023 at 5:00 pm PST. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the application

Once the application was completed, it was either:

1. Dropped off in person at the drop box at the front of the Housing Works building

2. Faxed to Housing Works

3. Emailed to Housing Works

This waiting list had the following preferences: 

• Applicants that reside in Crook, Deschutes or Jefferson Counties or whose household includes a family member who works, or has been notified that they are hired to work, in Crook, Deschutes or Jefferson Counties

• Currently receiving services from the Department of Human Services (DHS) through Child Welfare or Self- Sufficiency

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences
