This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Altoona, Pennsylvania

The Altoona Housing Authority (AHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 8, 2024, until May 22, 2024

There are two ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

1. Call 814-949-2000 to request an application

2. Pick up an application in person at the AHA office, located at 2700 Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona, PA 16602

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be either:

1. Hand delivered to the AHA office, address mentioned above

2. Postmarked by May 22, 2024 and mailed to the AHA office, 2700 Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona, PA 16602

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Live, have lived, or work in Altoona

• Working at least 20 or more hours every week
• Veteran

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences
