Eligibility
The Bucks County Housing Authority (BCHA) Family Unification Program (FUP) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from May 21, 2019 at 9:00 am ET, until further notice.
Please note: According to the BCHA, this waiting list is "solely for families that qualify for a HUD Family Unification Program (FUP) Voucher, as follows:
- Must be a client with Bucks County Children & Youth Social Services Agency
- Is the parent or guardian of a child/children who is already placed outside the family home and stable housing is the primary reason for the delay in reunification
- Is the parent or guardian for one or more children who is/are at risk of being placed outside the family home and stable housing is the primary reason for the placement
- Is a youth that the Bucks County Children & Youth Social Services Agency can certify is between 18 – 24 years old, and who has left foster care/will leave foster care within 90 days, and is homeless or is at risk of becoming homeless."
To apply during the opening period, applicants must contact their Children and Youth Caseworker to request an application.
Once the application has been completed, it must be either:
- Dropped off at the BCHA office, located at 240 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054; from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm.
- Mailed to the BCHA office at the address above.
This waiting list has the following preference: Live or work in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.
