Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the County of Lackawanna (HACL) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted from January 11, 2021 at 9:00 am ET, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Print the paper application available here. Select the "Click Here to Download Printable Application" link.
2. Pick up an application in person from the the vestibule at the HACL office, located at 2019 W. Pine St., Dunmore, PA 18512.

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

1. Dropped off at the HACL main office, address mentioned above on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm only, any applications being dropped off outside of these times may be put in the drop box located at the HACL main office.
2. Mailed to the Lackawanna County Housing Authority, 2019 W Pine St, Dunmore, PA 18512

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
