Bristol, Piney Flats, Blountville and Bluff City, Tennessee Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Bristol Housing Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least May, 2020, until further notice.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Domestic Violence - Have you been a resident at a state certified abuse shelter or participating in a program of a state certified abuse shelter for a minimum of two (2) weeks?
• Displacement due to Eminent Domain - Have you been displaced from your home due to government action such as Eminent Domain? Example: Did Federal or State Government purchase the property you owned or rented in order to build a highway, etc.
• Displacement due to Federally Declared Disaster - An example of a Federally Declared Disaster would be Hurricane Katrina
• Port-In (Applies to HCV Program only) - You have been issued a voucher by another housing authority and want to have Bristol Housing administer that voucher
• Has served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
