This waiting list is for Non-Elderly Disabled Voucher rental housing assistance in Anderson, Bedford, Benton, Blount, Campbell, Cannon, Carroll, Cheatham, Chester, Claiborne, Clay, Cocke, Coffee, Crockett, Decatur, DeKalb, Dyer, Fayette, Fentress, Franklin, Gibson, Giles, Grainger, Hamblen, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Jefferson, Knox, Lake, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Loudon, Macon, Madison, Marshall, Maury, McNairy, Monroe, Montgomery, Moore, Morgan, Obion, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Roane, Robertson, Rutherford, Scott, Sevier, Shelby, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Tipton, Trousdale, Union, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, Weakley, White, Williamson, and Wilson County, Tennessee.
The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) Mainstream (Non-Elderly Disabled) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list for all regional offices is opening soon on a limited basis. Applications will be accepted for one day only, on January 7, 2025 from 6:00 am until 11:59PM pm CT. The waiting list was last open in November 2019.
Please note: This waiting list is for Mainstream Non-Elderly Disabled applicants only. Applicants must be between at least 18 and under 62, and institutionalized, in a segregated setting, homeless, or at risk of the above. All applicants must be income-eligible to qualify.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Must be aged 18-61 and working with an agency to prevent becoming homeless.
Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
