The Waco Housing Authority and Affiliates (WHAA) is accepting Section 8 housing choice voucher waiting list applications for Hill and Somervell County from June 5, 2023 at 8:00 am CT, until June 8, 2023

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Veteran
• Employment
• Elderly
• Disabled and Handicapped (Head of Household)
• Job Training/School
• Domestic Violence
• Federal Preference (person (s) displaced by a federally declared disaster.)
• Homeless as defined by HUD or McKinney - Vento definition of Homeless
• Residency Preference

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences
