The Montpelier Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
This housing authority offers one family apartment community, and two apartment communities dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.
To apply for public housing you can visit the housing authority to fill out an application, located at 155 Main St., Montpelier, VT 05602, during normal office hours, Monday-Friday.
This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: involuntarily displaced, living in substandard conditions, or rent burden. These preferences are given equal weight.
