Eligibility
The Rutland Housing Authority (RHA) Public Housing waiting list is currently open, since at least May, 2015, until further notice. Waiting lists for a specific community or bedroom size may be closed.
There are three ways to apply:
- Download and print the application online here. Select the "Download a Public Housing Application" link.
- Request an application by mail by calling (802) 775-2926, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm ET.
- Pick up an application at the RHA office, located at 2 Tremont St, Rutland, VT 05701, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Once the application is completed, it must be mailed or hand delivered to Rutland Housing Authority, 5 Tremont Street, Rutland, VT 05701.
Copies of the following additional documents are required for all members of the household: Birth certificate, Social Security card.
This waiting list has the following preferences:: elderly, disabled, living and/or working in the state of Vermont, employed, or a victim of domestic violence.
