Eligibility
The Springfield Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals.
Please Note: This housing authority does not have a family public housing program.
This housing authority has two public housing communities with 131 units dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.
There are three ways to apply for public housing:
1, Request an application be mailed to you by calling 802-885-4905, during normal office hours.
2. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 80 Main St., Springfield, VT 05156.
3. Download the application here, then print and complete.
Once the application has been completed it can mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include these documents with your application: proof of all income, proof of all assets, birth certificates, social security cards, photo IDs for all adult household members. A complete list of all documents is on the first page of the application.
This housing authority does have a preference for applicants living and/or working in Springfield.
