Eligibility
This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Kenosha, Wisconsin
The Kenosha Housing Authority (KHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted for one day only on July 24, 2024 from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm CT. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in August, 2022
Income Qualification
The maximum income limits for each household size are as follows:
- 1 Person $34,250 | 5 Persons $52,850
- 2 Persons $39,150 | 6 Persons $56,750
- 3 Persons $44,050 | 7 Person $60,650
- 4 Persons $48,900 | 8 Persons $64,550
Preferences
This waiting list has the following preferences:
- Applicants that live, work or attend school in Kenosha County
- Disabled, elderly, or who have minor children in the household
Selection Process
1,500 to 2,000 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences
